Due to testing next week at the Elementary School, we are starting the JH/HS Solo and Ensemble Recital on March 31, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. in the HS Auditorium. Performers may report to the Band Room at 6:10 to warm-up and we will begin our performances in the auditorium at 6:30. Please come see all of the talents these students possess.

The North Greene School district has invited our parents and community members to attend a presentation from FBI Special Agent Jake Griffin titled "Protecting Our Youth in the Digital Age". GNW HS Softball game with North Mac scheduled for April 1, has been rescheduled for March 30 @ 4:30PM @ NW.

Junior High Honor Roll Breakfast is tomorrow at 7:15.

Picture Day is tomorrow! No order is due now. You may receive an email shortly after Picture Day to view and order the picture. Proof Flyers will be delivered to the school approximately 10-14 days after Picture Day.

Class of 2026 - Illinois Retired Teachers Association Foundation Scholarship is available for those wanting to become a teacher. Due date is May 1. All Seniors have been emailed this link. It is also available under Scholarships on the school website or can be accessed here:

Class of 2026 - The George P. Hunt Scholarship is really a loan for students pursuing a degree in engineering or the medical field. There is not a due date, but the loan must be approved by the Greenfield Board of Education. The application has been emailed to all Seniors, is available on the school website under Scholarships and is available in the folders outside of the counselor's office.

Class of 2026 - Lions Club Service Scholarship is available and due April 17. The application has been emailed to all Seniors, is available under Scholarships on the school website and in a folder outside of the counselor's office.

Class of 2026 - The Woodbine Scholarship is available to students whose family is a member at Woodbine. This application is due April 10. Applications were emailed to all Seniors, are available on the school website under Scholarships or in the folders outside of the counselor's office.

Class of 2026 - Greene County Farm Bureau Scholarships are due March 31. All students were emailed the link or it can be accessed here

Junior high art class took advantage of the nice weather today and practiced some plain air drawing.

Class of 2026 - Jessie Griswold Trust Loan application is available and due June 5. This is an interest free loan for up to $3500 per semester for anyone pursuing any kind of post-secondary training/education - 2-year college, 4-year college or trade school. The application has been emailed to all Seniors, can be found under Scholarships on the school website and is available in a folder outside of the counselor's office.

Class of 2026 - Stanley Frech Charitable Trust Scholarships are available and due on April 17. Applications are available on the school website under Scholarships, were emailed to all Seniors and are in a folder outside of the counselor's office.

Class of 2026 - Brenda Bishop Visionary Scholarship Award is available and due April 10. Applications were emailed to all Seniors, are available under Scholarships on the school website and in a folder outside of the counselor's office.
