Todays Junior High Baseball and Softball games at Calhoun have been cancelled.

If you ordered on the first round of Tiger football roster shirts (orders placed by Aug 3rd), they will be at the football field tonight near the south endzone. Please see the cheer coaches. If they are not picked up tonight, they will be passed out at school on Wednesday.

Jordyn will be our new Speech Pathologist. Recently Jordyn has moved home from the Chicago area where she worked in a hospital setting. Lets welcome Jordyn back to the area and into the Tiger Family!

Athletic Update: We have added another fresh/soph football game in Palmyra on Thursday, September 10 at 6:30pm against Carlinville. Go Tigers!

GNW Athletic changes: High school volleyball schedule changes:

The Fr/Soph jamboree in Palmyra will be played on Labor Day (Sept. 7) instead of Monday, August 31

The volleyball game at Gillespie has been changed from Monday, August 24 to Wednesday, August 26

High school football changes/additions:

The JV football game on Monday, September 14 has been changed from home against Pleasant Hill to at Pittsfield and starts at 6:00pm

We will host Triopia in fresh/soph football on Thursday, September 24 in Palmyra at 6:30pm

We will host Auburn in fresh/soph football on Thursday, October 15 in Palmyra at 6:30pm

GNW High School football practice time has been moved to 4-7 this evening with modified events due to the heat.

Conxxus Internet will donate $100 to Greenfield CUSD #10 for all new residential customers that sign up for their internet between August 25th and September 30th. Please see the attached flyer for details.

Registration is today! 9am-6pm at the elementary gym for ALL grades. Please park in the gym parking lot. Reminder, you must register new students in person. Only returning students may be registered online through TeacherEase.

GNW Lady Tiger Volleyball Player/Parent meeting will be held in the GHS gym at 6:30PM on Wednesday, August 5. If at all possible, please pay athletic fees in person, not online, as the online fee is incorrect.

Hello staff, students, parents, and community, I hope you’ve had a wonderful summer and are enjoying these last few weeks before the start of the school year! Over the past week, I’ve heard a few rumors and received several questions about whether school will begin on time due to our construction projects. I wanted to provide everyone with a quick update. I’ve remained in regular contact with Omni, our construction manager, as well as our contractors, and I’ve been walking through our buildings multiple times each week. I’m happy to report that all construction projects are currently on schedule—or even slightly ahead of schedule. If you were to walk into the elementary school today, you might not think we’re on track, but a tremendous amount of work has been completed, and everything is progressing as planned. The high school and lower elementary projects are expected to be finished first, with the north end of the elementary scheduled to be completed last. At this time, we fully expect to begin school as scheduled and are excited for our students and staff to experience these updated learning spaces. Once school has been in session for a few weeks and everything is complete, we plan to host a community open house so everyone can come see the incredible improvements that have been made throughout our buildings. Thank you for your continued support, patience, and confidence in Greenfield CUSD #10. We can’t wait to welcome our students back for another outstanding school year!
