Highlights from our junior high student artist! This year junior high students art elective class time was longer than in previous years, so we were really able to learn and practice techniques and concepts before applying them to our final artworks. This also gave students more time to generate ideas!

Due to construction in the Elementary building this summer, the building will not be open after 12:00pm Friday, May 22nd. You may still call the Elementary phone number, as it will be forwarded to the District Office.

The boys' baseball game today will be played in Palmyra against Southwestern and begin at 5:00pm.

The softball game today vs. Carlinville has been cancelled.
The baseball game scheduled against Edinburg will now be played at the Scheels Sports Complex in Springfield and start at 6:00pm.

The high school track meet scheduled for Friday, May 15 at Gillespie has been cancelled.

Our High School artists traveled to Chicago yesterday! They visited the Art Institute, one of the two largest art museums in the country! They also explored Millennium Park including Cloud Gate (the bean). In true artist fashion, most of them sketched on the train to and from Chicago. Thank you to everyone who supports our art department and participates in our fundraisers. You make this experience possible for our students!

When turning in sports camp forms, please have cash separated or write separate checks for each camp. Thank you!

6th Grade Parents: Please to make sure they sign and return the Urban Air waiver that came home from school today.

The high school softball team has added a contest to their schedule and will play Carlinville on Monday, May 18 at 4:30 pm in Palmyra.
