We wanted to make everyone aware of an important change for tonight’s game and all of next week.
The parking lot located between the high school, high school gym, district office, and Mulberry Street, as well as the bus lane directly south of the high school, will be completely off limits during this time.
All entrances to these areas will be blocked. For everyone’s safety, no one will be permitted in these areas on foot or in a vehicle. We ask that everyone please respect the barriers and use alternate parking and walking routes when attending tonight’s game or visiting the high school next week.
If you have any questions, please reach out.
Thank you for your cooperation and patience as we continue working through our summer projects. Have a great weekend, and Go Tigers!

A couple of important reminders for our Greenfield Elementary families:
⏰ Students should NOT be dropped off at Greenfield Elementary before 7:45 a.m. There is no staff available to supervise students before that time. For the safety of our students, please make sure they are not dropped off early.
📚 8th Grade Parents: Please remember the A Day/B Day transportation and high school schedule that was shared with you.
Tomorrow is an A Day AND a 1:45 dismissal.
On a 1:45 dismissal A Day, 8th graders will be at the high school:
10:30–11:40 a.m.
12:30–1:45 p.m.
At dismissal, students may ride the designated bus back to the elementary school if needed or be picked up directly at the high school.
Thank you for helping us keep arrival safe and making sure everyone knows where they need to be! 🧡🖤
Due to safety concerns involving elementary students who ride a bus from the elementary school to the high school at the end of the day, we will be implementing some changes to our dismissal procedures beginning tomorrow, Thursday, August 20, 2026.
These changes apply to any elementary student who rides a bus from the elementary school to the high school at dismissal and then:
walks or rides a bike home from the high school;
leaves with a sibling; or
is picked up by a parent, guardian, or other adult.
For the remainder of this week, while high school buses are loading and unloading on Mulberry Street, elementary students arriving by bus will unload at the high school and walk to the sidewalk near the District Office. Students will remain there with staff members who are supervising bus dismissal until it is safe for them to leave or be picked up.
Once we return to our normal high school bus dismissal procedures in the bus lane, elementary students will unload from their bus and wait on the concrete area in front of the high school. Students will remain there until all buses have departed. Once the buses are gone, students who are being picked up will be allowed to walk to the District Office parking lot.
For the safety of our students, all parents, siblings, or others picking up an elementary student must meet the student in the District Office parking lot. If your vehicle is parked somewhere else, you will need to walk to the District Office parking lot, meet your child, and escort them to your vehicle. Elementary students will not be permitted to walk through the high school parking areas to meet a vehicle while buses and student traffic are leaving campus.
Elementary students who walk or ride bikes home from the high school should also use extra caution when leaving campus due to the increased vehicle traffic created by high school dismissal.
We understand that our parking lot project is not yet complete, and we hope to have it finished soon. We also recognize that our current high school bus dismissal procedures are temporary and are not our normal routine. However, regardless of these temporary circumstances, the safety of our students must remain our priority. We appreciate everyone's cooperation as we work to make dismissal as safe and orderly as possible.
If you have any questions regarding these procedures, please contact Mr. Stumpf, Mrs. Bettis, Mrs. Williams, or Mr. Jones.
Thank you for your patience, flexibility, and understanding as we work through the beginning-of-the-year adjustments.
Have a great evening, and Go Tigers!
